A lot of people are getting gastroparesis, but they're getting gastroparesis because of central nervous system issues, so neurological gastroparesis.
That's when signals from the brain aren't correctly getting to the intestinal tract or the stomach or even the duodenum or even the esophagus.
The vagus nerve has a lot to do with it, actually vagus nerves.
You have two vagus nerves coming out of the brainstem right here.
And when they get inflamed, signals can be mixed up as they're traveling down through the intestinal tract, causing actually like a gastroparesis.
Because there's different varieties of gastroparesis.
This is a neurological kind of gastroparesis right here.
This is the kind where the brainstem's inflamed.
And then or the vagus nerves themselves are inflamed, sending down signals that are actually not getting to the places they need to go for the body to have peristaltic action.
Thank you.
